Thanks and Appreciation Function
The Verte Training and Education Division hosted a special Thanks and Appreciation Function on 11 September 2026 at Tevah Venue in Bloemfontein, to express sincere gratitude to the individuals and organisations who contributed to the success of the CPD event held from 24–27 August 2026.
The function provided an opportunity to recognise and thank the chairpersons, facilitators and presenters whose time, expertise, leadership and commitment helped create a meaningful learning experience for participants. Special appreciation was extended to presenters from the Free State Department of Health, Central University of Technology, Test It Lab and SAMHS.
A special thank you was also extended to the Free State Department of Health for its support, cooperation and partnership, with particular recognition given to Ms Keswa for her coordination and assistance throughout the planning and implementation of the event.
At Verte Training and Education, we believe that continuous professional development, collaboration and knowledge-sharing are essential to strengthening professional practice and contributing to safer and healthier healthcare environments. We look forward to creating many more opportunities to learn together, work together and build a culture of knowledge, skills and excellence.

Safe healthcare facilities are created through the integration of Infection Prevention Control, Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety, Professional Ethics, Leadership, and Continuous Quality Improvement.
The programme of this event is founded on the belief that preventing healthcare-associated infections requires a system-based approach rather than isolated interventions.
Developed with a strong Environmental Health perspective, the programme recognises the central role of environmental health in creating and maintaining safe healthcare environments.
As a Train-the-Trainer Programme, participants are equipped not only with technical knowledge but also with skills to educate, mentor and support colleagues in implementing best practices.
